What: Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week

Dear Glenwood Family,

We would like to honor our dedicated teachers and staff the week of May 6th-10th, 2024. To do this, we need your help. A donation of $2.00 per child enables us to have a luncheon to honor their hard-work and dedication. We need your help making posters and decorations. If you would like to help or need more information please contact our Parent Center Representative, Ms. Marisol Villarreal Guijoza at 818-767-6406. Please see below how you can contribute towards this worthy event. Thank you in advance for your donation and support!

Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week Activities:

Please consider recognizing our staff members in the following way:

Monday, May 6th is Flower Day	Please consider bringing a flower for your child’s teacher/staff member!
Tuesday, May 7th is Chocolate Day	How about some chocolate for the teacher/staff member?
Wednesday, May 8th is Snack Day	Everyone likes trail mix or a bag of chips!
Thursday, May 9th -What would your child’s teacher appreciate?	Classroom supplies? A triple grande nonfat latte from Starbucks? Anything goes!
Friday, May 10th is our Staff Appreciation Luncheon	Please have your child create a Thank you card for their teacher to present at the staff appreciation Luncheon.

If you would like to donate food for our Staff Luncheon please contact Mrs. Villarreal Guijoza. Please be informed that all donated items must be store bought/packaged or prepared at a restaurant.

Actividades de la Semana de Agradecimiento a Maestros y Personal:

Por favor considere reconocer nuestros miembros del personal de la siguiente manera:

Lunes, 6 de mayo es el Día de Flores	¡Por favor considere la posibilidad de traerle una flor al maestro(a)/personal!
Martes, 7 de mayo es el Día de Chocolate	¿Qué tal un poco de chocolate para el maestro(a)/personal ?
Miércoles, 8 de mayo es Dia Merienda	¡A todos les gusta la mezcla de cereales o una bolsa de papitas!
Jueves, 9 de mayo – ¿Qué apreciaría su maestro(a) de su hijo?	¿Los artículos escolares? Un café de Starbucks? ¡Todo vale!
Viernes, 10 de mayo es el día del Almuerzo de Apreciación	Su hijo/a puede crear una carta de agradecimiento para su maestro(a)/personal.

Si gustan donar comida para el almuerzo de los maestros por favor comunicarse con la Sra. Villarreal Guijoza para más información. Todos los alimentos donados tienen que estar empacados individualmente o ser comprados de un restaurante.

La participación en la Semana de Agradecimiento para los Maestros y Personal es voluntaria.
