On October 16, Glenwood Elementary will join schools across California in the Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drill, a district and statewide event that helps students and staff practice how to Drop, Cover, and Hold On during an earthquake.

This important safety exercise prepares our school community to respond calmly and effectively in the event of a real emergency. Families can support by reviewing your home safety plan and discussing safe spots in each room of your home.

Together, we can make sure our children are confident, prepared, and safe — both at school and at home.
