🎃 GLENWOOD FAMILIES: TRUNK OR TREAT WEATHER UPDATE! 👻
We are keeping our fingers crossed for good weather for Friday's Halloween festivities!
🎃 Halloween Parade – 8:40 AM
If there is any drizzle or sprinkling, the parade will be canceled. If rain begins after the parade starts, we will stop immediately and safely bring students indoors. Rain or shine, students may wear their costumes to school! We will take class photos and share them on ClassDojo and our school website.
🚗 Trunk or Treat – 4:30–5:30 PM
Even if the morning parade is canceled, Trunk or Treat may still take place if weather conditions cooperate. We will notify families through Blackboard Connect and ClassDojo if the event must be canceled. Neither event will be rescheduled if canceled.
🎟️ Trunk or Treat Family Pass
We will send home a Family Pass with students at dismissal. Please bring your pass to Trunk or Treat. This will help us ensure that the event is limited to Glenwood families.
🚗 IMPORTANT FOR PARTICIPATING FAMILIES:
All participants bringing a vehicle onto the school parking lot or distributing candy must complete a waiver at the main office.
Participating families may enter at 3:00 PM to decorate their vehicles and designated spaces.
Please have your decorations ready and allow enough time to set up before the event begins.
📢 PLEASE STAY CONNECTED!
Weather conditions may require last-minute changes. Please check your phone messages and ClassDojo for updates before heading to school.
Thank you for your flexibility and support! We are excited to celebrate with our Glenwood Student Leaders! 💙
