ROBOTICS & MAKERSPACE CLUB

Attention all 3rd-5th Grade Students

The Robotics Club is back!

We’re excited to kick off Glenwood Robotics & Makerspace Club for 2024-25! Meetings are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 2:30-3:30 pm. Competitions will be at Chatsworth High School from 4-7 pm, with families providing transportation.

Robotics & Makerspace Club members will learn coding and robot-building under the supervision of Glenwood and Beyond the Bell staff. To sign up, please complete and sign the Glenwood Robotics Consent Form & the VEX® Robotics Competition Consent and Release form.

When competition season is over our students will explore coding, robot-building, design, engineering, and creative making—We are preparing future engineers!

Robotics Club

We have 3 Competitions this year!

November 7th & 21st & January 26th

Check-in begins at 4 pm.  *  The competition is from 4:30-7 pm.

Each league session begins with Team Check-in and Robot Inspection. Doors open at 3:45 pm. Teams are requested to check in by 4:30 PM and robots need to pass inspection by 4:45 PM to allow time for preparing and printing the Teamwork Challenge match schedule. We begin the Competition at 5 pm!

Please make sure your child arrives by 4 p.m. If you need support with transportation please call the main office so we can help you network with other parents attending the competition.
